Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine held a “high-priority” meeting on advancing its “short-range counter-drone air defence”. “We are significantly strengthening this component within the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he adds. “We approved the structure of a new command that will oversee this particular area of air defence, along with new management approaches.” Zelenskyy says that protection against Russian drones “must be reinforced in our cities” like Kherson and Nikopol.
