26 new dengue cases were reported in Islamabad over the past 24 hours, with operations continuing to prevent further spread of the disease across the city.
According to the district administration, fourteen cases were recorded in rural areas and twelve in urban sectors. 17 of the infected individuals were admitted to hospitals. Anti-dengue teams carried out checks at 21,370 locations citywide. Spraying was conducted in 361 houses, while fogging took place at 270 sites.
The administration confirmed that targeted operations are ongoing in all union councils. It also warned that strict legal action will be taken against those found violating dengue-related standard operating procedures.
